Fimpec Group acquired by European architecture and engineering consultancy Sweco

Aventum acted as adviser to the owners of Fimpec Group Oy on the sale of all shares in the company to the European architecture and engineering consultancy Sweco.

Fimpec is an expert in consulting, engineering as well as project and construction management, specialising in the implementation of demanding investment projects from project development to implementation phase, especially in energy and industry projects. Fimpec’s expertise includes projects related to clean energy, hydrogen, bio- and circular economy, forest industry, and batteries and critical minerals. Fimpec employs around 400experts, most of whom work in Finland, and its turnover in 2024 was EUR 50.5million. In addition to Finland, Fimpec has offices in Sweden, Germany, and Estonia.

Fimpec Group is owned by Helmet Capital Oy Ab, Sitowise Group Oyj, key personnel, and private investors and investment companies represented by Helmet Capital Oy Ab.

The transaction signed on 6 October 2025. Closing of the transaction is subject to approval by the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (KKV).
